Samsung Galaxy Note20+ Got 3C Certification

On May 25, a Samsung’s phone with model number SM-N9860 got its Certification. The phone seems to be the “Galaxy Note20+” as the Samsung Galaxy Note10+ has a similar model number. It can be seen in the past that all the model number of Galaxy Note series start with SM-N.

According to 3C Certification, the phone supports 5G network connectivity. It also supports 25W (11V 2.25A) fast charging. The max charging support will be 45W. The model number seems to be of the Chinese variant of Galaxy Note20+.

It is also reported from other sources. The new Galaxy Note20+ will be equipped with a 6.87 inches top center punch-hole screen. The display will be a Dynamic AMOLED display with a resolution of 3096x1444p (2K+). It will also have a display refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The chipset which would be used on this phone will be the latest “Snapdragon 865 5G”. It will sport a battery of 4500 mAh with 45W max fast charging support. But out of the box, we will get a simple 25W fast charger. The phone will also support a new dual fingerprint entry feature, thanks to Qualcomm’s new generation fingerprint.

On the back, it has a quad-camera set up in a rectangle box like Galaxy S20+ has. The first camera is the primary camera sensor, while the other are a super wide-angle lens, periscope telephoto lens, and ToF lens. On the front side, it got a single punch-hole camera. Previously, it was also reported that Samsung is going to cancel the 100x zoom feature on its upcoming Galaxy Note20+.

Like every year, the upcoming Galaxy Note20 series will be launched in August. But this time, with Galaxy Fold2 too. Moreover, Samsung is planning to do an online launch event for the Galaxy Note20 series.
