Xiaomi 12 Pro Got 3C Certification With 120W Max Charging

It is known that Xiaomi 12 series would be among the first flagship series, which would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset. After the official announcement of the chipset, it is expected that Xiaomi will announce the all-new Xiaomi 12 series at any moment.

Recently, the new certification process completion of Xiaomi 12 Pro also denotes that the actual launch is very near. This evening, the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Pro has been listed on the 3C Certification (with model no: 2201122C), which has revealed the device’s charging specifications.

As can be seen, the new Xiaomi 12 Pro would use the company’s 120W fast charger, which has already been used in many previous flagship devices of Xiaomi and its sub-brand (Redmi). The charger also supports charging at 15W (5V/3A), 27W (9V/3A), 66W (11V/6A), and finally, the last 120W (20V/6A).

As previously revealed by the blogger @DigitalChatStation, the first batch of Snapdragon 8 Gen1 powered phones will probably feature the fast charger lower than 150W, and in the case of the Xiaomi 12 series, it became true.

In terms of specifications, the new Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset is based on Samsung’s 4nm manufacturing process. It features a total of eight cores: 1x Cortex-X2 Super Core (clocked @3.0GHz), 3x Cortex-A710 Performance Core, and 4x Cortex-A510 Energy-Efficient Core (clocked @1.8GHz). The chipset would also feature the new Adreno 730 built-in GPU.

Currently, it is expected that the new Xiaomi 12 series will be unveiled before the end of this year.
