Xiaomi 12s Pro Got 3C Certification with 120W Charging

It was reported that some new flagship-level devices from Xiaomi are under development. Some of them also got listed on different certification sites a few days ago. These flagship-level devices also included the upcoming Xiaomi 12s standard model, which revealed that the company is also working on this lineup.

This morning, another Xiaomi device (with model number: 2206122SC) has been listed on the Chinese 3C Certification site, and as per our sources, it would be the upcoming Xiaomi 12s Pro version. The certification revealed the charging specifications of the device, and except for this, nothing more is included.

As mentioned in the certification, the Xiaomi 12s Pro will support the company’s 120W GaN charger (carries model number: MDY-12-ED), which the company has already used several times in different flagships and premium mid-range level devices.

This 120W charger supports charging in the following modes: 120W (20V/6A), 66W (11V/6A), 27W (9V/3A), and 15W (5V/3A). It is worth mentioning that the standard version of the same lineup was also listed on 3C Certification but with a 67W charger.

In terms of other specifications, it is expected that the Xiaomi 12s Pro will be available in two versions: one with Snapdragon 8 Gen1 Plus chipset and the other with Dimensity 9000 chipset. It is worth mentioning that both chipsets are the best you can get from Qualcomm and Mediatek, respectively.

It is also reported that Xiaomi 12s Pro will feature a curved display with a higher resolution (most probably: 2K) and a higher 120Hz refresh rate. On the backside, there would be a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary camera.

Xiaomi is also expected to launch more devices, including the new Mix Fold 2 and Xiaomi 12X series, in the coming days.
