A few days before, Xiaomi’s main flagship lineup, the “Xiaomi 13 series”, started to get listed on many certification sites, which hinted that Xiaomi is in the designing phase of its new flagship lineup. However, we again got a look at the specifications regarding Xiaomi’s upcoming lineup.
This evening, a new device with model no: 2210132C got listed on 3C Certification. As per the IMEI database, the mentioned model number belongs to the company’s upcoming Xiaomi 13 Pro model, which would support a maximum 120W (20V/6A) max charging, as mentioned in the certification.
The certification also revealed that Xiaomi 13 Pro would use two different chargers with different model numbers: MDY-14-ED and MDY-12-ED. However, the working of both chargers is the same and supports a maximum 120W charging at 20V/6A.
It is also worth mentioning that the consumers would require to buy this charger separately as Xiaomi has eliminated the charger from the smartphone’s retail box.
As per previous news, the Xiaomi 13 series will be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset, which is expected to be announced at Qualcomm 2022 Summit happening in November. Also, the new Xiaomi 13 series will be among the first batch of devices equipped with this chipset.
In terms of specifications, the new chipset from Qualcomm would be a significant upgrade over its predecessor chipsets. It will feature a total of eight cores, including 1x Cortex-X2 Super Core, 1x Cortex-A720 Core, 3x Cortex-A710 cores, and 3x Cortex-A510 cores.
As the new Xiaomi 13 series is getting listed on certification sites, we expect the launch to happen very soon (maybe in two to three months).
