In February this year, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 5C. The biggest highlight of this phone is that it is equipped with Xiaomi’s self-developed Surge SoC. Today, a Weibo user revealed a set of renderings that is said to be the Xiaomi 6C.
According to leaked renderings, the Xiaomi 6C features a back design combining glass and metal, similar to the Xiaomi 5C. The phone features a dual-camera setup on the back. It adopts a full-screen design while retaining the home button on the front. It is said that the 6C is expected to be powered by the Xiaomi Surge S2 SoC, which will bring better performance.
The Xiaomi 5C features Xiaomi’s self-developed Surge S1 SoC and features an ultra-narrow 1.66mm bezel. The 3GB + 64GB variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately $227). Based on this, the Xiaomi 6C is likely to be priced starting at CNY 1,699 (approximately $258).
