According to past practices, the SM8450 is expected to debut on the Xiaomi 12, which is likely to be officially released in December.
This morning, Digital Chat Station revealed information about the Xiaomi 12. According to the blogger, Xiaomi already has a new phone with the codename 2201122C. This phone is expected to be the L2C version and will feature the SM8450 chipset.
The blogger further revealed that the Xiaomi 12 series will at least include two versions: 12 and 12 Pro. In addition to featuring the SM8450 chipset, the series will also include ultra-fast charging, a high-resolution camera, and a large screen.
According to previous reports, the phone is expected to support 120W wired fast charging, and its wireless fast charging will also see a significant upgrade.
It was also rumored that the Xiaomi 12 will be the world’s first phone to feature a 200MP Samsung S5KGND sensor, which corresponds to the ultra-high pixels in the latest news.
The Xiaomi 12 series will feature an LTPO adaptive refresh rate display, which can adjust the refresh rate from 1-120Hz and switch it based on the usage scenario.
