Today, Xiaomi unexpectedly released renderings of the Xiaomi 5X on its official website. This smartphone has been confirmed to be launched on July 26 at the Beijing National Convention Center along with the MIUI 9 system.
According to the renderings, the front design of the Xiaomi 5X is similar to the Xiaomi Max 2. The phone features dual parallel cameras and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Its antenna layout is similar to the iPhone 7 Plus. The phone is available in pink, gold, and black. The black variant will undoubtedly be the most popular choice due to its outstanding visual effects.
The device is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen and come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and feature a dual-rear camera setup that includes a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens. It is priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately $298).
There are rumors that the Xiaomi Mi 5X will get excellent offline sales scores if the smartphone has no supply problems.
