Lu Weibing said last week that the Xiaomi Smart Manufacturing Digital Intelligent System 2.0 at the Xiaomi Smart Factory in Yizhuang, Beijing, was officially launched. The first mass-produced device is the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, which will be released in August.
Today, a new Xiaomi phone with model number 2308CPXD0C received 3C certification. The phone comes with an MDY-12-EF charger and supports 67W fast charging. The phone is expected to be the MIX Fold 3, which is set to be unveiled next month.
Previously, Digital Chat Station revealed a foldable phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is expected to be the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3.
The phone features a curved glass body with a rear quad-camera system that includes a 3.2x portrait lens and a 5x periscope lens. It supports 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Its communication capabilities have been comprehensively upgraded, and use a new waterdrop hinge to enhance drop resistance, while the body remains slim and lightweight.
Lu Weibing has announced that the phone features four Leica optical lenses, confirming the authenticity of the blogger’s leak.
Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 in August last year. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, a 6.56-inch outer screen, an 8.01-inch inner screen, and supports a 120Hz refresh rate on both screens.
The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 will feature a camera system with a 50MP IMX766 main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. It has a 4,500 mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging.
