Galaxy Z Fold 5 Prototype Revealed: Same Design as of Z Fold 4

Samsung is expected to hold the UNPACKED event on July 26. The company is expected to launch successors of both foldable lineups (Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip) and some more devices. As the expected time is coming near, more leaks and rumors are getting revealed.

This morning, the famous blogger @IceUniverse (on Weibo) revealed the images of Galaxy Z Fold 5’s prototype. The entire physical aspect of Samsung’s new foldable phone can be observed thoroughly in images. The appearance resembles the last generation model (Galaxy Z Fold 4).

The only difference observed is the LED Flash placement. Now, the LED Flash is placed at the right of the camera module (instead of under the Camera lenses, as in Galaxy Z Fold 4).

As per previous news, it was revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will feature the same size primary and cover display as in the last model. Further, both displays are AMOLED and would support a 120Hz refresh rate. The company will provide the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset inside the foldable flagship.

The chipset is based on TSMC’s 4nm 2nd Generation manufacturing process and features Cortex-X3 Super Core (clocked @3.36GHz), Snapdragon X70 5G modem, and Adreno 740 GPU.

Moreover, the camera setup would also feature a new 12MP telephoto lens instead of a 10MP. The other two lenses would be the same (one is a 50MP primary, and the second is a 12MP ultra-wide lens). Inside the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Samsung has used a 4400mAh battery in addition to 25W fast charging.
