Today, ZTE announced that it will launch the ZTE A20 5G smartphone on September 1. This phone is the world’s first phone with an under-display camera. The company announced this news on its official Weibo account.
The official poster shows that the ZTE A20 5G has a full-view display with no holes. Its screen bezels also seem to be very narrow.
Previously, all the specifications of this phone were revealed on the TENAA website, showing that it will use a full HD+ (2460 x 1080 pixels) OLED panel and feature Visionox’s under-display camera solution. The phone measures approximately 172.1 x 77.9 x 7.9 mm and weighs 198 g. The chipset has not been announced, but it has been confirmed that it will not use a flagship chipset.
The back of the phone will feature a quad-camera module (64MP, 8MP, 2MP, 2MP). On the front, there will be a 32MP under-display camera. The phone will be powered by a 4120 mAh battery.
The phone will be available in 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB storage variants with only two color options: dazzling white and cool flame blue.
