ASUS Zenfone 7 Live Images Leaked: Same Motorized Flip-up Main Camera Module

Recently, a netizen on twitter @daige8888 has revealed the live images of ASUS’s upcoming phone “ASUS Zenfone 7”. The live photos have revealed a lot about phones.

In the photos, it can be seen that the new ASUS Zenfone 7 uses the same “Motorized Flip-Up Main Camera Module” as its predecessor Zenfone 6. But this time, the camera module has less height (while popped up) as compared to its predecessor.

Moreover, the phone got a triple camera setup with an LED flash (in between second and third camera). The camera uses a 64MP primary camera sensor (Sony IMX686) + 12MP (Ultra-Wide Sony IMX363) + ToF sensor (as per reports).

The back of the phone seems to be made up of plastic, but there is a high probability that this phone will use the glass back like its predecessor. The color of the phone got a combination of dark blue and dark green with the central theme of black color. There is “ASUS” Branding too, on the mid at the rear side of the phone. The sides of the back also seem to be curved like its predecessor.

Moreover, there are two IMEIs also mentioned on the back of the phone. After searching those numbers on the IMEI database, we found that this is the standard Zenfone 7 with model number “ZS670KS”. The same model number has already been spotted many times on other certification sites.

The fingerprint scanner seems to be missing on the back. It may use a side-fingerprint scanner, as there is no chance for an in-display fingerprint scanner because the phone uses an LCD. For more info about the specifications of the phone, check our previous article.

The phone will be launched on 26th August at 2:00 PM (Taiwan Timing) in an online conference (will be streamed on YouTube).
