Black Shark is planning to launch the successor to its gaming phone. Today, the company officially confirmed that the Black Shark 4 is in development.
Today, the CEO of Black Shark (Luo Yuzhou) officially announced that the Black Shark 4 will be released soon. He also revealed the phone’s charging specifications. According to the CEO, the Black Shark 4 will have a 4500mAh battery and support 120W fast charging.
He also mentioned that this phone can be fully charged in less than 15 minutes, making it the fastest-charging phone. Previously, the iQOO 7 was the fastest-charging phone (fully charged in 15 minutes).
The Black Shark 4 has officially been confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. This news comes from the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit held in Hawaii in December 2020. At the summit, Qualcomm revealed the list of manufacturers and said these brands are developing smartphones with the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, the Black Shark is also on the list.
The Snapdragon 888 5G is an octa-core chipset manufactured using a 5nm process. It also has a Cortex-X1 core with a maximum frequency of 2.84 GHz.
Previously, it was reported that the Black Shark 4 is ready for launch. It was also revealed that this phone may feature a 144Hz display.
It is expected that Black Shark will announce the release date and other configuration information soon.
