The gaming brand of Xiaomi (Black Shark) is planning to launch the successor of its famous gaming smartphone series. Today, the company has officially confirmed that the new Black Shark 4 is in working.
Today, the CEO of Black Shark (Luo Yuzhou) has officially announced that the new Black Shark 4 is on its way. He also revealed the charging specifications of the new gaming phone. As per the CEO, the new Black Shark 4 would feature 120W fast charging with a 4500mAh Battery.
The CEO also mentioned that this phone’s full charging time is less than 15 minutes, making it the fastest charging phone. Before this model, the iQOO 7 was the fastest chargeable phone (in 15 minutes).
The Black Shark 4 is officially confirmed to feature Snapdragon 888 5G chipset because of the Snapdragon Technology Summit (SD 888 Launch Event) held in Hawaii (December 2020). Qualcomm also announced the OEM manufacturer’s name and mentioned that these brands are developing Snapdragon 888 5G powered smartphone, and the Black Shark was also mentioned there, as well.
The Snapdragon 888 5G is an octa-core chipset based on a 5nm manufacturing process. The chipset also consists of a 1x Super Cortex-X1 core, which got the maximum frequency (@2.84GHz).
Previously, it was reported that the new Black Shark 4 with code-named “Emperor,” is ready to launch. It was also revealed that this phone might use a 144Hz refresh rate display.
It is expected that the officials would announce the release date and some other configuration information soon.
