Yesterday, we reported that the Samsung Galaxy A02 had received Bluetooth SIG certification. Now, the device seems to have entered the final development stage, as it has received another certification.
Today, the Galaxy A02 appeared in the FCC database. As always, the FCC documents reveal its charging specifications. According to FCC documents, the Galaxy A02 will have a 5000mAh battery with the model number EB-BA217ABY. The Galaxy A21s also uses the same battery.
This device comes with an 8W charger, which is already used in many Samsung smartphones. The charger’s model number is EP-TA50JWS.
The Galaxy A02 has a MicroUSB port, as the data cable mentioned in the FCC documents is a MicroUSB cable. The device also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, as the earphones with model number EHS61ASFWE are also mentioned.
The model SM-A022F/DS mentioned in the certification is a dual-SIM dual-standby version.
This device has appeared on Geekbench. It is powered by a Qualcomm MT6739WW chipset, a quad-core chipset based on a 28nm process. The chipset has four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz.
According to reports, the Galaxy A02 will feature a 6.5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1600 x 720. The back of the phone features a triple camera system (13MP, 2MP, 2MP), while the front has a 5MP selfie camera.
This phone will be available in two variants: 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. Its price is expected to be lower, making it Samsung’s most affordable phone. There is currently no official news about the launch of the Galaxy A02.
