The news that Samsung is about to launch the Galaxy A22 is widely known. The most exciting part is that this phone will support 5G network connectivity, making it Samsung’s most affordable 5G smartphone.
Today, the Galaxy A22 5G has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance. This phone is available in both single-SIM and dual-SIM versions. The single-SIM version carries the model number SM-A226B, while the dual-SIM version carries the model number SM-A226B/DSN.
The certification document mentions that both models run Android 11. However, the certification does not reveal any further details.
Earlier reports indicated that the Galaxy A22 5G will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. This chip uses an advanced 7nm process, which can improve energy efficiency by up to 28% compared to an 8nm process at the same performance level.
The renders of this phone have also been revealed, confirming that it features a V-shaped notch screen. The back of the device features a triple camera system, with the lens module square-shaped and protruding from the body.
