Today, the upcoming model Galaxy A22 5G has been listed on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification site. It is also observed that both (Single SIM and Dual SIM) versions has been listed. The Single SIM version has a model number “SM-A226B”, while the Dual SIM version has a model number “SM-A226B/DSN.

The certification mentions that both models are running the latest version of Android OS (i.e. Android 11). Except that the certification didn’t reveal anything more.

Previously, it was revealed that the Galaxy A22 5G would feature the mid-range chipset from MediaTek, “Dimensity 700.” The chipset is based on a leading 7nm production process, which is up to 28% more power-efficient than an equivalent 8nm process. It features 2x Cortex-A76 cores (@2.2GHz) and 6x Cortex-A55 cores (@2.0GHz).

The renders of the phone were also revealed, from which it got confirmed that the phone features a V-Shaped Notched display. On the backside, it features a triple camera setup placed in a square-shaped camera bump.

It is expected that Samsung will launch its Galaxy A22 5G in June 2021.
