Samsung Galaxy A52 4G surfaces on Geekbench with Snapdragon 720G and 8GB RAM

Today, a new Samsung device with the model number SM-A525F appeared on Geekbench. According to the model number, this device is likely the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 4G.

A few days ago, the Galaxy A52 5G model with the model number SM-A526B also appeared on Geekbench. This 5G version is powered by the Snapdragon 750 chipset.

In this Geekbench benchmarking, the Galaxy A52 4G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset. It is an octa-core chipset built on an 8nm process, with a maximum frequency of 2.3 GHz.

The Galaxy A52 4G comes with 8GB RAM. It scores on Geekbench at the same level as the mainstream mid-range phone. The single-core score is 554 points, and the multi-core score is 1689 points. It also runs the latest One UI 3.

Earlier leaked renders of the Galaxy A52 show that the design is almost unchanged, similar to the Galaxy A51. Its chin and bezel sizes may be slightly reduced.

The Galaxy A52 is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2021.
