Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+ battery got 3C certification

The Galaxy S21 series seems to be under development. Today, the battery specifications for the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ were revealed through 3C certification.

The first certification is for the Galaxy S21+, which features a 4660 mAh battery. The battery with model number EB-BG996ABY corresponds to the G996 model of the Galaxy S21+, indicating it is the battery for the Galaxy S21+.

The second certification is for the Galaxy S21, which features a 3880mAh battery. The model number EB-BG991ABY also corresponds to the Galaxy S21 model G991.

Surprisingly, neither battery is manufactured by Samsung. The applicant for both batteries is Ningde Amperex Technology Limited, a well-known Chinese battery manufacturer. Both certifications were issued on September 3.

Previous reports indicated that the Galaxy S21 series will include three models: S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra. The codename for the Galaxy S21 series is Unbound, with specific models including M1, N2, and O3. Among them, the O3 model may come with an S Pen, which seems to be the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Currently, there are no further leaks or official statements regarding the phone.
