The leaks regarding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 flagship series are now speeding up. Every day, we are now getting new leaks. Today, we got to look into another leak related to the battery of Galaxy S22+.
This morning, the battery of Galaxy S22+ (with model no: EB-BS906ABY) just got certified from SafetyKorea certification along with the live images. As mentioned in the certification, the phone will feature a 4500mAh，16.95Wh Battery (typical value), its rated capacity is 4370mAh. The “S906” in model number confirms that the battery belongs to Galaxy S22+.
The live image of the battery has revealed more detailed specifications regarding the battery. It is also observed that the company has cut 300mAh of power in the battery as the last year’s Galaxy S21+ features a 4800mAh Battery. Maybe due to the reduction in display size, Samsung features a smaller battery on its Galaxy S22 lineup.
As per previous info, the display sizes of both Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ will be decreased (6.01 and 6.55 inches, respectively) while the size (6.81 inches) of Galaxy S22 Ultra will remain the same. All of these models will feature a 120Hz higher refresh rate.
In-camera section, the Galaxy S22, and S22+ will also feature a new 50MP Samsung GN5 Sensor having a pixel size of 1/1.55 inches with only 3x optical zoom support. At the same time, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature the newer generation of 108MP lenses with the same 3x periscopic lens and 10x periscopic lens.
It is also reported that the Galaxy S22 lineup will be available in a majority of the Snapdragon 898 powered version. The other version with Exynos 2200 chipset in collaboration with AMD’s GPU will be limited to some regions.
The new Galaxy S22 series is expected to be launched at the end of December 2021 or maybe in early January 2022.
