After the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, Samsung began working on its Galaxy S24 series. Even the devices are now listed on many certification websites. Recently, through some sources, we learned about important aspects of the Galaxy S24 series.
This morning, Ice Universe revealed the display specifications of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The blogger also posted pictures of the non-edge display.
The phone will come with a 6.78-inch punch-hole OLED display with a resolution of 3120 x 1440. The display will have an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and will support peak brightness of up to 2500 nits. The peak brightness has been significantly upgraded (from 1750 nits on the Galaxy S23 Ultra to 2500 nits).
According to previous news, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will ditch the aluminum bezel in favor of a titanium body to enhance its appearance. In addition, the display size will remain largely the same for all models (slight changes are expected), and the battery capacity for non-Ultra models will only be upgraded.
The entire Galaxy S24 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is expected to be released in November. The chipset will have one Cortex-X4 supercore, three Cortex-A720 cores (high-frequency), two Cortex-A720 cores (low-frequency), and two Cortex-A520 cores.
