We reported that Huawei’s Mate 60 back design was revealed a few weeks ago. However, at that time, the design’s leaks were only in the form of renders, which were also expected to get some change. Recently, we looked at something that confirmed the device’s appearance.
This morning, the live images of the Huawei Mate 60 have been leaked. In the photos, more aspects of the device can be observed. Before getting into details, it is worth mentioning that the design is the same as in the renders.
As can be seen, the device is available in many colors, including a white color (with dual-tone color), and a pure black color. In the case of the purple model, the upper part of the backside is purple, while the lower area is available in purple, and white.
Only the black color is the one which has no addition. The camera design is the same: a triple camera lens setup inside a circular-shaped camera module. In the middle of the circle, there is an XMAGE branding.
As per previous leaks, the Huawei Mate 60 series would feature a centered dual punch-hole display similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island Display (in iPhone 14 Pro models). The punch-hole will feature a 3D ToF sensor in addition to a flagship-tier selfie lens.

As we all know, the US government has limited Huawei to using only the 4G chipset of Qualcomm; that’s why reports claim that Huawei might ditch Qualcomm and use its new Kirin series chipset.
The new Mate 60 series is rumored to be released after the launch of the iPhone 15 series and is also expected to disturb Apple’s sales in the Chinese market.
