As the launch of the new Galaxy Z Fold 2 is coming near, more information is getting revealed. Recently, it was confirmed that the phone would be called the “Galaxy Z Fold 2” instead of “Galaxy Fold 2”.
Recently, the digital blogger @ice universe (famous for Samsung’s leaks) has revealed some more news regarding the upcoming phone. According to him, the new “Galaxy Z Fold 2” will be released in the “Thom Browne” edition’s too.
The new “Thom Browne” edition of the phone will come in a full package, which includes the latest Galaxy Watch3 (in Titanium Edition) and Galaxy Buds Live (still unannounced). The blogger also mentioned that the price might be above 20,000 yuan (equivalent to $ 2855).
Thom Browne is an American fashion designer. He is the founder and head of design for Thom Browne, which is a New York City-based menswear and womenswear brand.
Talk about the specifications. The new Galaxy Z Fold 2 will feature a 7.7 inches foldable display with a resolution of 2K and 120Hz refresh rate support. The phone will also sport a dual 4365mAh battery (2090Mah+2275mAh). The chipset will be Qualcomm’s latest “Snapdragon 865+ 5G”. Currently, the 12GB and 16GB RAM variant are confirmed.
The phone will be launched in the upcoming UNPACKED event (on 5th August) along with other Samsung devices.
