Samsung is expected to hold an UNPACKED event on July 26. The company is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, and some other devices. As the expected time approaches, more leaks and rumors are revealed.
This morning, Ice Universe revealed images of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 prototype. From the pictures, we can see the front and back appearance of this phone.
The only difference is the location of the LED flash. It is now located on the right side of the camera module instead of below the camera lens on the Galaxy Z Fold 4.
According to previous news, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will feature the same size main display and cover display as the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Both displays are AMOLED and support a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
The chipset is based on TSMC’s 4nm second-generation manufacturing process and has a Cortex-X3 supercore, a Snapdragon X70 5G modem, and an Adreno 740 GPU.
The camera setup will also feature a new 12MP telephoto lens instead of a 10MP lens. The other two lenses will be the same (one is a 50MP primary lens, and the other is a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens). The phone has a 4400mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
In addition to the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5, Samsung is also expected to release the Galaxy Tab S9 and Galaxy Watch 6 in the upcoming UNPACKED event.
