According to official sources, the Geely Galaxy E8 is based on the SEA architecture and is scheduled to be launched in the last quarter of this year. Recently, Geely announced that this electric car will make its debut with the world’s widest 45-inch 8K unbounded screen.
In addition to the screen, the Geely E8 also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chipset and Geely’s new car system.
Geely stated that the Galaxy E8 will have a 45-inch 8K display in the front row, offering an active display area of 1130mm x 138mm. This intelligent design allows the driver to maintain a wide 88-degree viewing angle, ensuring an immersive visual experience.
The display layout also helps eliminate potential visual obstructions from the rearview mirror, thereby improving overall driving safety.
The large screen features a slim profile, measuring just 9.8mm. This sleek design combines touch glass, cover, and functional film to create an ultra-thin 8mm narrow black bezel.
The screen-to-body ratio is 98%, and it features anti-glare, anti-fingerprint, waterproof, dustproof, and more. The EV’s operating system also supports game applications that users can play and control with smartphones and controllers.
The front of the Galaxy E8 features an elegant ripple design, with the headlights extending upward in a dynamic posture. The high-definition cameras are mounted on both sides of the body. The side profile of the vehicle is an important part of its new aesthetic.
This electric car features a streamlined design, with the rear through-type taillights harmoniously echoing the multi-layer rear bumper. The vehicle measures 5010 x 1920 x 1465 mm. The car is powered by an all-electric drive system with an impressive 200kW combined motor output.
