Honor V40’s TPU case leaked, camera design confirmed

The launch of the Honor V40 series had been delayed. The company even opened the pre-orders for this phone in its major offline stores.

Today, Digital Chat Station once again revealed new information about the Honor V40 series. The blogger revealed spy photos of the phone’s TPU protective case, confirming the design of its camera module.

The camera module seems to have the same lens layout as the Huawei Nova 8 Pro. The only difference is that the Nova 8 Pro uses an oval camera module, while the Honor V40 has a rectangular module. It is also noted that there may be a headphone jack on the upper right side of the camera.

According to previous reports, the Honor V40 series is expected to feature a 120Hz screen with a 300Hz touch sampling rate. This phone is also likely to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset.

It has been confirmed that all devices in the Honor V40 series will support the same 66W wired fast charging, and they are also expected to support 45W wireless charging.

The Honor V40 is expected to feature a 50MP lens; the V40 Pro will have a triple-camera setup, while the V40 Pro+ will have a quad-camera setup.

Currently, the expected launch date for the Honor V40 is January 12. However, it has been confirmed that the V40 series will be available before the end of this month.
