Honor V40 Series Coming on January 18: Pre-orders Opening Today

After many leaks & rumors, Honor has finally given the official statement regarding its Honor V40 series.

This morning, Honor has officially confirmed that the all-new Honor V40 series is coming on 18th January. It is also mentioned that:

“Starting from 8th January (today), Honor offline stores and major authorized e-commerce platforms will open appointments (pre-orders) simultaneously, and you will have a chance to win gifts when you participate”.

In the official teaser of the Honor V40 series, it can be seen that the smartphone features a dual punch-hole curved display; the technical specifications like display’s resolution, size, & refresh rate are not has been confirmed officially.

There is a charging port at the bottom of the phone with speakers & the SIM slot is also there. The appearance of the phone is almost similar to Huawei’s Nova8 series smartphone.

As previously reported, the Honor V40 is expected to feature Mediatek’s latest flagship chipset, “Dimensity 1000+”. The Dimensity 1000+ is an octa-core chipset based on a 7nm manufacturing process. The chipset has a maximum frequency of 2.6GHz with a Cortex-A77 core.

All the Honor V40 series devices will feature a maximum 66W wired charging, the same charging speed as in Mate40 & Nova8 series. The support for 45W wireless charging is also expected.

It is expected that the standard Honor V40 series will be equipped with a 50MP lens; the Pro version would have a triple camera lens, while the Pro+ version will have four cameras.
