Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 40 Pro+ get certified by TENAA

At the 2020 China Information Technology Summit, Richard Yu stated that Huawei would release the Mate 40 series with the Kirin 9000 chip in September. Now, these three Huawei Mate 40 series phones have been certified by TENAA.

Among them, the Huawei Mate 40 is codenamed Ocean and has the model number OCE-AN00. The Mate 40 Pro is codenamed Noah and has the model number NOH-AN00. The Mate 40 Pro+ has the model number NOP-AN00. It is known that all three phones support dual-SIM cards and run Android OS.

Previous reports indicated that the Mate 40 will feature a 6.67-inch curved screen from LGD, supporting a 90Hz refresh rate, and will feature a 50MP main camera, a 20MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens.

The Mate 40 Pro features a 90Hz waterfall display from LGD or BOE, a 50MP liquid lens, an 80MP ultra-wide cinematic lens, a periscope lens, and a TOF lens. The phone has a punch-hole screen design and supports 3D facial recognition.

In August, renderings of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro were revealed. The phone features a curved screen, dual punch-holes on the front, and a circular camera layout on the back.
