Today, Digital Chat Station revealed a live image of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro glass screen protector.
In the image, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a dual-punch-hole waterfall display. Compared to its predecessor, the curved areas at the top and bottom seem to have been reduced.
The front camera also seems to be different from the Huawei P40 Pro. The first camera on this dual-punch phone has a slightly smaller hole than the Huawei P40 Pro, while the second camera seems to be the same.
Previously, the camera module of the phone was revealed, revealing that the device will feature a quad-camera setup. The main camera and ToF sensor will be the same as those on the Huawei P40 Pro.
This smartphone will also feature the new Kirin 9000 chipset, which uses a 5nm manufacturing process and is equipped with Cortex-A78 cores. The Mate 40 series is expected to come pre-installed with EMUI 11, which is based on Android 11.
The phone is expected to launch in the fall of 2020 (October or November).
