Recently, the famous blogger @digital chat station revealed the live images of the TPU cases of Huawei’s upcoming Mate 40 series. The live images reveal the component layout of both Huawei Mate 40 series phones.
It can be seen that the hole for the camera module is a little bit bigger than the Huawei Mate 30 series. Moreover, the whole phone has no flash opening (as the blogger mentioned), which was expected to be moved into the camera module.
It is also observed that both phones have volume buttons and power buttons in the same place, like in Huawei’s Mate30 series. In the pro version of Mate 40’s case, it can be seen that the phone will feature a dual speaker as there are holes (in the TPU Case) for that.
The charging port is likely to be the same Type-C port with fast charging support. Moreover, it can be seen that there is no place for a headphone jack in Huawei’s Mate 40 Pro case, while in the standard Mate 40, it seems like there may be a 3.5mm headphone jack as there is a cutout at the top of Huawei’s Mate 40 case.
As previously reported, the upcoming Mate 40 series is expected to feature an improved waterfall dual punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Moreover, a better camera and unannounced chipset Kirin 9000 are also likely to be featured on the phone. This will be Huawei’s last series to feature a Kirin chipset. Moreover, the phone will be available in limited quantities.
Currently, the launch of the phone is expected between the end of September and the start of October.
