In September 2022, Huawei released the Mate 50 series, the best flagship lineup from Huawei. The series included two primary models: Huawei Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro. Both models were powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 4G version. As per the latest news, it seems that Huawei is working on the next generation of its Huawei Mate flagship lineup.
This evening, it was reported that Chinese bloggers have released images of the Huawei Mate 60 back cover mold. In the photos, the backside design of Mate 60 can be observed thoroughly.
As can be seen, the Mate 60 still features the same round camera module on the backside, the same as in the Mate 50 series. However, the arrangement of lenses has been changed. All four lenses are now placed in different positions. In addition, the ultra-thin periscopic lens will adopt new technology.
Under the camera lenses, another circle seems to be the wireless charging area. However, minor changes are still expected in this Huawei Mate 60 series back cover mold.

In other aspects, it was reported that the Huawei Mate 60 series would feature a centered dual punch-hole display (with a 3D ToF sensor and a flagship-level selfie lens), like the Dynamic Island display cutout in iPhone 14 Pro models. In addition, the reports also claimed that Huawei might use a self-developed chipset in its upcoming flagship series instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset.
The Huawei Mate 60 flagship series is expected to launch in the Fall of 2023.
