Huawei Mate 60 Pro Backside Renders Revealed

A few days before, an image of Huawei’s Mate 60 back cover mold was revealed in which the back design could be observed. However, recently we got a look at another leak that has cleared the backside view of Huawei Mate 60 series models.

The famous blogger @DigitalChatStation (on Weibo) has revealed the backside renders of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro through which the camera section and backside design can be observed more thoroughly.

The Huawei Mate 60 Pro still features a circular camera module (just like previous models), but the lens arrangement inside the circle differs. In addition, the number of lenses is still three. In the middle of the circle, there is “XMAGE” branding. The back side also adopts a curved edge design.

Moreover, the blogger mentioned that the device would feature an IR blaster on the top of the frame, a loudspeaker on the bottom right, and the earpiece placed inside the dual punch-hole of the display.

As per leaks, the Huawei Mate 60 series would feature a centered dual punch-hole display similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island display on iPhone 14 Pro models. However, this display would also have side edges. The dual punch-hole is expected to include a ToF 3D sensor and a flagship-level selfie lens.

Previously, it was also reported that Huawei might ditch Qualcomm’s flagship chipset and use its self-develop chipset in the Huawei Mate 60 series. It is worth noting that Huawei is limited to using only 4G chipset by the US government.

At the moment, we can expect the Huawei Mate 60 series to launch in Fall 2023.
