This morning, Digital Chat Station revealed the specifications of the Huawei Mate X3. According to the blogger, the Mate X3 will adopt the inward-folding design like its predecessor.

Huawei Mate X3 Specs

The blogger said that the Mate X3 will feature a punch-hole main screen, while the inner screen will not have a camera module.

The phone will come with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The chipset is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and is manufactured using a 4nm TSMC process.

The blogger also revealed that the Mate X3 will come with a triple rear camera module, including a Sony 50MP IMX766 primary lens, a Sony 13MP IMX688 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a Sony 16MP IMX351 periscope lens. The phone is expected to come with a 4800mAh battery and support 66W fast charging.

Finally, the blogger also mentioned that the thin and light body will be a key feature of this phone.

According to previous reports, the Huawei Mate X3 is expected to be priced at around $1,500. Currently, the Mate Xs 2 starts at $1,450.

It is also worth mentioning that the Mate X3 may not support 5G, as Huawei does not currently have a license to use Qualcomm’s 5G chipset. However, Huawei may later launch a special case for this phone to enable 5G connectivity, as Huawei has done in the past.

We can expect the Huawei Mate X3 to launch before the end of the first quarter of 2023.
