For a long time, users have been expecting that Huawei might launch a new Nova 8 series. The company also launched a special edition of this phone a month ago. Today, Digital Chat Station revealed the latest news about the Nova 8 series and some other devices.
According to the blogger, the Nova 8 series will be launched on December 23, alongside the Huawei Enjoy 20 SE and Watch Fit.
The blogger also mentioned that ‘there are Kirin chip phones,’ which may suggest that the Nova 8 series will use the Huawei Kirin 9000 series chipset. However, due to the limited production of this chipset, it may be available only in the Nova 8 Pro.
The Nova 8 may feature a Dimensity 1000 series chipset or a Kirin 990 5G chipset. Previously, the Nova 8 series devices were revealed on China’s 3C certification website, showing that they will support 66W fast charging.
Other devices, such as the Huawei Enjoy 20 SE, will also be launched on the same day. The device is expected to feature a mid-range 5G chipset, such as the Dimensity 700 series. In addition, Huawei will release a new device in the Watch Fit series. Its predecessor was launched in September 2020.
