According to reports, after the release of the Huawei Mate 40 series, Huawei is preparing a new Nova series. This time, it will launch the Huawei Nova 8 series. This morning, Digital Chat Station revealed the renderings and specifications of the Huawei Nova 8 SE.
According to the blogger, the Huawei Nova 8 SE will feature a 6.53-inch OLED display. The screen resolution is Full HD+ (possibly 2460 x 1080), and the refresh rate is limited to 60Hz.
The camera module seems to be the same as the Nova 7 SE. It will feature a quad-camera setup (64MP, 8MP, 2MP, 2MP). The phone has a 3800mAh battery with a 66W charger, which appears to be a downgrade compared to the 4000mAh battery in the Nova 7 SE.
The weight and thickness of this phone will be optimized. The Nova 8 SE will be 7.46 mm thick and weigh around 178g.
The Nova 8 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset, while the Nova 8 Pro will feature the Dimensity 800U chipset. Both octa-core chipsets are based on the same 7nm process, and both have a maximum frequency of 2.0 GHz.
The Nova 8 SE is expected to be launched in early or mid-December along with the Nova 8 series. The leaks indicate that the device is currently in the development stage.
