Recently, we reported that iQOO will launch the iQOO 5 series smartphones. The main highlight of this series is its fast charging technology, which supports up to 120W. The company has now officially announced the release date of this phone.
As the release date approaches, this phone is gradually unveiling its mysteries. This time, the iQOO 5 appeared on the 3C certification website, and the certification was issued on 6 August. The certification information shows that this device’s model number is Vivo V2025A.
The charger used for this phone in certification supports fast charging in different modes from 10W to 120W. This 120W charger has a model number V12060L0C0-CN. In addition, the phone also supports 5G network connectivity. The applicant for this certification is Vivo Mobile Communications Co., Ltd.
Earlier reports indicated that the iQOO 5 series will feature a curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and it will be HDR10 certified. However, this phone will not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor and will feature the UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5X memory.
The phone is currently set to launch on 17 August.
