Yesterday, we already reported that Xiaomi is going to launch a new flagship “Extreme Commemorative Edition” of previously launched Mi 10. Moreover, it was also mentioned that the phone would be a ten years gift from Xiaomi.
Xiaomi has done the same thing again, but this time with its sub-brand “Redmi.” A few days ago, a new version of Redmi K30, “Redmi K30 Ultra,” was leaked on TENAA, and it was also stated that the launch of the phone is very near. Today, Redmi has officially confirmed that.
The new flagship phone from Redmi is the “Extreme Commemorative Edition” of previously launched “Redmi K30” (like Mi 10). The company has announced this launch on its Weibo account. It is also mentioned that the phone will be launched on 11th August at 7:30 PM (China Standard Time). Both the phones, “Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro+” and “Redmi K30 Ultra,” will be launched on the same day and in the same event.
Previously from TENAA, it was reported that the phone would feature a 6.67 inches AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400x1080p (Full-HD+). The display may feature a pop-up camera, as there is no front camera on the phone’s render. Inside the phone, there will be a 4400mAh battery, which will support fast charging too (maybe up to 33W). Moreover, the “Dimensity 1000+” chipset is also expected to be used on this phone.
In the camera section, the phone will feature a quad-camera setup with a 64MP primary camera. On the front, there will be a single 20MP camera. The phone will be available in 6GB, 8GB, 12GB RAM and 128GB, 256GB, 512GB Storage variants with different colors. Moreover, the phone will also be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The phone will be launched on 11th August.
