iQOO is said to be launching the iQOO 8 series soon. This morning, the company officially announced a new product launch conference on August 17 at 7:30 PM, where it will unveil the iQOO 8.
The announcement poster didn’t reveal anything more except the launch date.
As previously reported, the iQOO 8 will feature Samsung’s E5 (single punch-hole) screen for the first time in the industry. The display is expected to reach a 2K resolution (around 3200x1440p) and will also support a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, natively up to 10-bit color, using the COP package.
It will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888+, which has the same chipset as the Snapdragon 888. The main upgrade is only the frequency of the Cortex-X1 super core, which has been increased from 2.84GHz to 3GHz. We can expect that the extreme performance output will be even better.
The iQOO 8 will also support 12GB of RAM and 4GB of memory expansion. The phone has a primary camera with an outsole and a high-power periscope lens. The front camera is placed in a single punch-hole. The phone uses OriginOS, which is based on Android 11.
