The announcement poster did not reveal any information beyond the launch date.

Previous reports stated that the iQOO 8 will be the first to feature a Samsung E5 display with a single punch-hole. The screen is expected to reach a 2K resolution (approximately 3200 x 1440 pixels), support a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, have a native 10-bit color depth, and use COP packaging technology.

The iQOO 8 Pro will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888+ chipset, an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 888. The main upgrade is only in the frequency of the Cortex-X1 super core, which has been increased from 2.84 GHz to 3 GHz. We can expect its extreme performance to be better.

The iQOO 8 will also support 12GB of RAM and a 4GB storage expansion. The phone has a 48MP main lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens. The 13MP front camera is placed in a single punch-hole. The phone runs OriginOS, which is based on Android 11.
