In October 2022, iQOO launched the iQOO Neo7 with the Dimensity 9000+ chipset in the Chinese market. According to sources, iQOO seems to be launching a successor to this phone.
This morning, Digital Chat Station revealed that the iQOO Neo8 series will be powered by the Dimensity 9200+ chipset, a high-frequency version of the Dimensity 9200 chipset.
The Dimensity 9200 is based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process and has one 3.05 GHz Cortex-X3 super core, three 2.85 GHz Cortex-A715 cores, and four 1.8 GHz Cortex-A510 cores. The GPU is Arm Immortalis-G715.
In addition to the Dimensity 9200 chipset, the iQOO Neo8 series will also come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The high-end variant will have 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Like its predecessor series, the iQOO Neo8 series is expected to include the following devices: the iQOO Neo8 SE, the iQOO Neo8, and the iQOO Neo8 Racing Edition.
There is no news on the launch date of the iQOO Neo8 series. However, we can expect it before the second half of this year.
