iQOO U3x 5G officially launched with Snapdragon 480

iQOO has launched a new entry-level phone. The device belongs to the iQOO U series and is called the iQOO U3x, a more affordable version of the iQOO U3.

The product page on the official website also reveals the device’s price and full specifications. The specifications are as follows.

This phone features a 6.58-inch LCD display with a waterdrop notch. The screen resolution is 2400 x 1080 and supports a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz. The screen ratio is 20.07:9, while the screen-to-body ratio is 90.61%. It also supports 16.7 million colors and a 401 PPI pixel density.

The phone measures 164.15 x 75.35 x 8.40 mm and weighs about 185.5g. The side bezel is made of plastic. It comes with a 5000mAh battery and supports fast charging up to 18W.

The iQOO U3x is powered by the Snapdragon 480 5G chipset with an X51 5G modem. The chipset is built on an 8nm process and has a maximum clock of around 2.0 GHz (with Kyro 460 core). The chipset also comes with an Adreno 619 GPU.

The phone adopts a dual-camera setup. The primary camera is a 13MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, while the secondary camera is a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The front camera uses an 8MP lens in the notch.

The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage.

The iQOO U3x has three storage variants: 6GB + 64GB ($184), 4GB + 128GB ($184), and 8GB + 128GB ($230). It will be available in grey and magic blue colors. The phone is available for pre-ordering, and buyers will receive it on April 1.
