This morning, iQOO announced that the iQOO Z5 will be launched on September 23. The company positions this phone as a ‘performance pioneer.’
The company also posted the launch poster using the iQOO Z5 and confirmed the chipset and related specifications in another announcement.
It is now officially confirmed that the Z5 will feature the Snapdragon 778G chipset, a mid-range chip built on a 6nm process. This chipset features an Adreno 642L GPU and an X53 5G modem. The phone also features UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 memory.
According to previous reports, the phone will feature a single punch-hole display with full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, 3C certification indicates that the device supports 44W fast charging.
It is worth mentioning that the iQOO Z3 was powered by the Snapdragon 768G chipset, which belongs to the same product line and is the predecessor of the Snapdragon 778G. Its performance will far surpass its predecessor.
In the future, iQOO is expected to gradually reveal the specifications of the iQOO Z5 in teaser posts.
