After being listed on various certification sites, iQOO has finally confirmed the existence of its all-new iQOO Z5. This morning, the company has officially announced (on its Weibo) that the new iQOO Z5 will be launched on September 23 at 2 PM (Chinese Timing). Furthermore, the company has used the slogan “Performance Pioneer.”

It is now officially confirmed that the iQOO Z5 would feature the new Snapdragon 778G chipset, a premium mid-range chipset built on a 6nm process, which features Adreno 642L GPU, and X53 5G modem. In addition to that, the iQOO Z5 also features UFS 3.1 Storage and LPDDR5 memory, a potent combo for solid performance.
As previously reported, the new iQOO Z5 will feature a single punch-hole display with Full-HD+ resolution (2400*1080p) and 120Hz refresh rate support. Furthermore, it was also listed on 3C Certification, in which it got revealed that this model will support 44W (11V/4A) fast charging.
It is worth mentioning that the previous model iQOO Z3 was powered by the Snapdragon 768G chipset, the same segment chipset and predecessor of Snapdragon 778G. We can say that the performance would be a lot better than the previous model.
In the future, it is expected that the officials will reveal the further specifications of iQOO Z5 in the warm-up posts.
