This morning, iQOO announced that the iQOO Z5 will be launched on September 23 at 2 PM. The company has labeled this phone as the ‘Performance Pioneer.’
The company also posted the launch poster using the iQOO Z5 and confirmed the chipset and related specifications in another announcement.
It is now officially confirmed that the iQOO Z5 will feature the Snapdragon 778G chipset, a mid-range chip built on a 6nm process. This chipset features an Adreno 642L GPU and an X53 5G modem. The phone also features UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 memory.
According to previous reports, the iQOO Z5 will feature a single punch-hole display with Full-HD+ resolution (2400x1080p) and support a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the 3C certification shows that the device will support 44W fast charging.
It is worth mentioning that the iQOO Z3 was powered by the Snapdragon 768G chipset, the same segment chipset and predecessor of the Snapdragon 778G. We can say that the performance would be a lot better than its predecessor.
In the future, the officials are expected to reveal the specifications of the iQOO Z5 in preview posts.
