iQOO Z7i Listed on Google Play Console with Dimensity 700

iQOO, the sub-brand of Vivo, continues to release new models to stay in the market. As per the latest information, it seems that the company is working on its upcoming iQOO Z7 series, as one of the models got leaked today, which is most probably the base model of the entire series.

This morning, the all-new iQOO Z7i (with model number: vivo PD2230) got listed on Google Play Console certification, revealing the front side renders and basic specifications of the device.

As mentioned, the new iQOO Z7i is powered by the Dimensity 700 chipset, an entry-level SoC from Mediatek, based on a 7nm manufacturing process. It features the following cores: 2x Cortex-A76 Performance Cores (clocked @2.2GHz) and 6x Cortex-A55 Energy-Efficient Cores (clocked @2.0GHz).

Regarding the display, the smartphone features a V-shaped notch display that supports HD+ resolution (720*1600p) and 320 DPI (Density per Inch). The smartphone is also equipped with 8 Gigs of RAM and runs on the latest Android 13 OS.

As judged from the specifications, the smartphone seems to be an entry-level model and maybe launch as the base variant in iQOO’s upcoming Z7 lineup. In total, we can expect that there would be three models in this lineup: iQOO Z7i, iQOO Z7 (standard), and iQOO Z7 Pro.

Currently, there is no news regarding the all-new iQOO Z7 lineup. However, we can expect the launch in the upcoming months. It is worth mentioning that the last generation of the iQOO Z series (iQOO Z6) was introduced in March 2022.
