Lenovo K15 with Unisoc T606 Chipset and 4GB RAM Listed on Google Play Console

Last year in March 2022, Lenovo introduced its Lenovo K14 series, an entry-level series. Both devices (standard and plus variants) in the lineup were powered by Unisoc chipsets. However, the latest reports suggest that the company is working on successor models.

This morning, the upcoming Lenovo K15 has been listed on the Google Play Console listing, revealing the device’s basic specifications and front-side renders.

The image shows that the new Lenovo K15 will adopt a single-centered punch-hole display that supports HD+ resolution (1600*720p) and has 280 DPI (Density per Inch), as mentioned in the certification. In addition, it is also expected that the display might support a 90Hz refresh rate like the predecessor model.

Regarding the chipset, the Lenovo K15 is powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset, an entry-level SoC based on a 12nm FinFET manufacturing process. It consists of the following cores: 2x Cortex-A75 Performance Cores (clocked @1.6GHz) and 6x Cortex-A55 Energy-efficient cores (clocked @1.6 GHz). The GPU is Mali-G57.

The certification also mentions that the device is equipped with 4 Gigs of RAM and is running on the Android 11 OS (not the latest version of Android).

It is expected that the specifications of the Lenovo K15 will be a lot similar to its predecessor. The previous Lenovo K14 is also equipped with the same chipset and resolution display. In terms of camera, the model was fitted with a triple camera setup with 48MP primary sensor. While it also features a 5000mAh battery with 10W wired charging support.

Currently, there is no news regarding the launch of the Lenovo K15 series. However, the certification hints that the launch isn’t that far.
