Vivo X Fold2 Specifications Revealed: Snapdragon 8 Gen2, 4800mAh Battery and IMX866

It is known that Vivo is currently working on its upcoming foldable flagship devices as new foldable machines (including the Vivo X Fold2 and Vivo X Flip) previously got listed on many certification sites. Recently, we got another major leak regarding the Vivo X Fold2, the successor model of the Vivo X Fold+.

This morning, the famous blogger Digital Chat Station revealed the specifications of the upcoming Vivo X Fold2. As per the blogger, the new Vivo’s foldable flagship will feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset from Qualcomm, one of the best Android smartphone SoC in the industry.

Vivo X Fold2 Specs

The blogger further mentioned that the device would be equipped with Dual Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner, meaning that both outer and inner display will feature an in-display scanner. In terms of battery, it would feature a 4800mAh battery in addition to 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

The blogger also mentioned that this model would be equipped with a Sony IMX866 lens (a 50MP RGBW large bottom primary camera lens) in addition to the Vivo V2 ISP chip. In the end, DigitalChatStation has also mentioned that the device would be improved in terms of weight compared with its predecessor. It is worth noting that both Vivo X Fold and X Fold+ weights around 311g.

Previously, the Vivo X Fold2 has also surfaced on AnTuTu benchmark site, revealing its benchmark scores in addition to some basic specifications. The specifications, including the battery, charging, and camera, are mentioned above. However, it was also rumored that the inner and outer display would support a 120Hz refresh rate, and the internal display will have a 2K+ resolution.
