Lenovo is developing the new generation of its Legion gaming phone. Today, Lenovo’s general manager confirmed on Weibo that the phone will be named Lenovo Legion 2 Pro.
Today, Lenovo revealed the highlights of its upcoming gaming phone. According to Lenovo’s Weibo post, the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro will feature the industry’s first dual-turbo ultra-dimensional cooling system.
The Weibo post also mentioned that the gaming experience will be epic and the device will no longer have heating issues. In addition, Lenovo China’s general manager confirmed that the device will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.
The Snapdragon 888 is an octa-core chipset built on a 5nm process. It has a Cortex-X1 super core and an Adreno 660 GPU.
The combination of the Snapdragon 888 chipset and the dual-turbo ultra-dimensional cooling system will make the device run extremely fast.
The specifications of the Lenovo Legion Pro 2 are currently unknown. However, the phone is expected to feature an improved display (possibly supporting a 165Hz refresh rate), larger battery, UFS 3.1 storage, and LPDDR5 memory.
The launch date of this device was not disclosed in this Weibo post.
