Some leaked benchmarks suggest that the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 may be the world’s fastest chipset, thanks to its reliable architecture and high benchmark scores. Recent developments further suggest that the Dimensity 9000 is the highest-scoring chipset.

This morning, the Dimensity 9000 chipset was listed on the AI Benchmark with an AI score of 692.5 points. This score is 2.7 times higher than the Google Tensor, 3.7 times higher than the Exynos 2100, 3.9 times higher than the Kirin 9000, and 4.2 times higher than the Snapdragon 888, which is currently the best option for Android smartphones.

It is worth mentioning that this chipset features a new APU 4.0 (Accelerated Processing Unit), which played a key role in achieving the highest benchmark scores on the Dimensity 9000.

The Dimensity 9000 chipset features eight cores, including one Cortex-X2 super core clocked at 3.05 GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.85 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.

At present, almost all smartphone manufacturers are focusing on launching phones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. However, it is expected that in the near future, manufacturers will also start releasing phones with the Dimensity 9000 chipset, which will be priced lower than phones with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

Some smartphones, such as the Poco F4 GT, Redmi K50 Gaming Edition, and Realme X9 Max 5G, are expected to be powered by this chipset.
