Yesterday, Meizu officially announced the schedule for the 2021 spring new product launch event. The company will hold the Flyme 9 launch event on March 2 and the Meizu 18 series launch event on March 3.
This morning, Meizu officially revealed the appearance of the Meizu 18 series. The phone continues the design style of the Meizu 17 but features a dual-curved screen with a punch hole in the center for the front camera, and the curvature is not very pronounced.
In addition, the middle frame is made of metal, and a ring is displayed on the screen, which is speculated to be the animation effect for the fingerprint recognition.
The poster shows the words “Slim to the left, ultimate to the right”, which means that Meizu 18 focuses on a slim body, while Meizu 18 Pro focuses on high performance.
The latest news shows that the Meizu 18 model number is M181Q. The phone has a Snapdragon 870 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage, with a rear triple-camera module (64MP, 12MP, and 5MP).
The Meizu 18 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 888 SoC, LPDDR5 memory, and UFS 3.1 storage, offering relatively stronger performance. In addition, this poster does not show the rear design of the Meizu 18 series.
