Meizu 18 Pro confirmed to feature Snapdragon 888, UFS 3.1 storage, and LPDDR5 memory

Today, Meizu officially confirmed the chipsets and some related specifications of the Meizu 18 series on its Weibo account.

Meizu 18 Pro key specs

According to Meizu, the Meizu 18 Pro will feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. It has also been confirmed that this phone will feature UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 memory.

The Snapdragon 888 is an octa-core chipset built on a 5nm process. It features a Cortex-X1 core clocked at 2.84 GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.42 GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.

In addition, the Meizu 18 series is also confirmed to come with the OneMind 8XX app. According to reports, this app seems to be able to optimize the phone’s battery life and performance.

Previous reports stated that the Meizu 18 Pro will feature a QHD+ display with a single punch hole. The display size of both phones will be 6.2 inches.

The Meizu 18 is also confirmed to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, which is an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 865, with a maximum frequency of 3.2 GHz.

The Meizu 18 will feature a triple camera system (64MP, 12MP, 5MP), while the camera specifications of the Meizu 18 Pro are not yet known.

The Meizu 18 series is set to be launched on March 3.
