Yesterday, Meizu Technologies officially released the display’s specifications of its upcoming Dual Flagship series Meizu 18. As the launch date is coming near, more specifications are getting revealed by the officials. Today, another highlight of the device has been released.
Recently, the company has officially confirmed the chipset and some other related things on their official Weibo account.
As per officials, the Pro version of the Meizu 18 series will feature the latest chipset from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 888. In addition to that, the UFS 3.1 Storage & LPDDR5 Memory is also confirmed to be equipped.
In terms of specifications, the Snapdragon 888 is an octa-core chipset based on a 5nm manufacturing process. The chipset features a 1x Cortex-X1 core (@2.84GHz) for the first time. It also features 3x Cortex-A78 cores (@2.42GHz), and 4x Cortex-A55 cores (@1.8GHz).
In addition to that, the all-new Meizu 18 series is also confirmed to be equipped with OneMind 8XX. As per reports, the OneMind 8XX seems to be software that might be used to optimize the battery and performance of the phone.
As previously reported, the all-new Meizu 18 Pro is confirmed to feature a QHD+ (2K) display with a single center punch-hole. The display size of both versions (standard & pro) will be 6.2 inches.
In terms of chipset, the Standard version is also confirmed to feature a sub-flagship chipset from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 870, an upgraded version of Snapdragon 865 with a maximum frequency of 3.2GHz.
If we talk about the camera specifications, the Meizu 18 will feature a Triple camera setup (64MP+12MP+5MP), while the Pro version’s camera specs are unknown.
The all-new Meizu 18 Dual Flagship Series is set to be launched on 3rd March.
