It was reported that iQOO (sub-brand of vivo) is working on the new generation of its iQOO Neo series. The all-new device will be named iQOO Neo5. The device has already been spotted on many certification sites.
Recently, the officials have confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Neo5 smartphone. The company has posted the launch date poster on its official Weibo account. As mentioned, the all-new iQOO Neo5 will be released on 16th March. The slogan of this new model is “Born to win.”
Except for the launch date, nothing more is revealed.
As per previous info, the all-new iQOO Neo5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 870. In terms of specifications, the Snapdragon 870 is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865. It has a maximum frequency of 3.2GHz, while the other specifications are the same as SD 865.
The device’s live images were also revealed, which confirmed that the device would feature a waterdrop notched flat display. The device will also run the latest Origin OS with Android 11. The device was also spotted on 3C Certification with a 66W charger, which confirmed that it would support 66W fast charging.
In terms of camera, the all-new iQOO Neo5 will feature a triple camera setup (48+13+2MP). The primary 48MP camera is expected to be the Sony IMX598 sensor. The sources also claimed that this model’s base price would be around 2999 yuan (Equivalent to $465).
